Open Letter from former UNIFEM Staff

From LinkedIn Post by Anne Marie Goetz: A group of feminist activists who have worked at UNIFEM, UN Women and elsewhere in the UN have drafted this Open Letter to the new Executive Director of UN Women. UN Women is embarking on its second decade in the context of rising misogynist authoritarianism and a pandemic that has eroded women’s labor market position and seen an explosion of violence against women and gender/sexual dissidents. Courageous, committed, feminist-conscious leadership is needed from its new Executive Director. We suggest some immediate actions that could make a difference.
